400 years ago Nikola Tesla's experiment in wireless transmission failed, flooding the electrical grid with tessalumens. In its wake, a new world emerged, where skyscrapers touch the heavens and humans develop a singular additional capability. Yet even with such advancement, not everyone will react with tessalumens' transformative power and not everyone will experience a Niagara event.

How would your college experience change if, besides getting a degree, you might suddenly develop a singular power you couldn't choose? Perhaps it will be something as mundane as curing hair loss or something as amazing as undoing the last five seconds of your choices? What if it was dangerous? What if the career you dreamed of would clash with this new skill? Would those who experience a Niagara event be better off than those who never did? Would there be real social equality and nondiscrimination of employers?
